What a stunning presence, this L494 Range Rover Sport. Sporty, yet not too flashy. A Range Rover with a fresh, original appearance, a clear history, and a fully documented maintenance record. And that’s exactly what we were looking for when we purchased this Waitomo Grey Range Rover Sport from the Land Rover dealership some time ago.
In the end, it’s the service history that truly matters. Although all maintenance was up to date, we had a full major service carried out immediately after acquisition by our trusted technical specialist. The interior and exterior were also professionally detailed. The result? A wonderfully smooth-driving Sport, with an even more delightful appearance.
This particular model is a facelift version, built in 2018. That means, for instance, a new multimedia system with a larger screen, and Apple CarPlay seamlessly integrated—just to name a few features. This HSE in Autobiography trim is generously equipped: ventilated and heated seats, LED Matrix headlights with automatic high beam, adaptive cruise control, lane assist, blind spot monitoring, 22-inch factory alloy wheels, red Brembo brake calipers—the list goes on.
The Range Rover Sport is a remarkably versatile vehicle—perfect for our own use. Slightly more compact than the Range Rover Vogue, and thus more manageable. It offers generous interior space, luxury in abundance, and all the practicality you could ask for: ample luggage room, space for a family, even a pet. Whether it’s long motorway journeys at high speed or navigating a bustling city with speed bumps and tight corners—this is a car that feels at home anywhere. And with the electrically deployable tow bar, it truly earns its title as the ultimate all-rounder.
You can be proud of this Sport. Just take a look at the exquisite Ebony leather, the elegant trim details, and that stunning wood finish—pure eye candy. The large panoramic sunroof, which opens at the touch of a button, floods the cabin with light, enhancing the sense of space. Laminated glass ensures minimal wind noise, and the electrically adjustable seats with memory—even the adjustable side bolsters—guarantee comfort tailored to you.
The automatic gearbox, featuring no fewer than eight speeds, shifts seamlessly and swiftly. The large touchscreen is intuitive to use, and pairing your phone for calls or music streaming happens almost effortlessly. A true highlight is the Meridian Sound System—1,700 watts, 22 speakers, and a subwoofer deliver an exceptional audio experience, a world apart from the standard setup.
When reversing, the screen clearly displays what’s happening behind you. The boot opens with a simple movement of your foot, and parking sensors are present at both the front and rear.
On the road, the Sport feels remarkably lively. And no wonder—it’s powered by the robust 3.0 SDV6 engine producing no less than 306 horsepower. You might expect a high fuel consumption, but over the last 10,000 kilometres, the onboard computer shows an average of just 8.8 litres per 100 km—that’s an impressive 1:11.3 efficiency. For comparison: my old 2001 Discovery TD5 consumes quite a bit more.
The condition of this Range Rover is excellent. No unusual noises, no strange vibrations, and of course, no warning lights. So, is there really nothing to mention? As with any car, there’s always something. In this case, the Sport is still fitted with Pirelli winter tyres. They have plenty of tread left, run smooth and vibration-free. And that’s it. Really.
No dents, no scratches, no damage. Every function works exactly as it should.
This Sport has been fully serviced by official dealers—no maintenance intervals missed. Naturally, all invoices are present, the service booklet is complete, and two remote keys are included, both in like-new condition.
This 3.0 SDV6 currently carries a German registration. As many of our cars find new homes abroad, the listed price is excluding Dutch BPM. We are happy to assist with export to any country—or with import and registration within the Netherlands.
