Originally built in a very small series in Santa Barbara, California, it was also called the Rolls Royce from California. Many movie stars and famous people ordered a Clenet, so it was a car for the lucky few and today the best money could buy back then. A very interesting car for a collector or someone who knows cars and without a doubt a rare collector’s item with a lot of potential!
Our 1982 Series III Asha Hardtop, number 24, with only 51,000 miles, is one of the last ever built and already features the modern 5.0 liter fuel injected V8 EFI engine and automatic transmission. A very rare car, handmade and with the unique removable hardtop, of which only 14 were made in total. Clenet Coachworks Inc. only produced a total of 52 Clenet Series III Asha vehicles.
The Series III Asha Hardtop submodel was introduced in 1981 and offered until 1982, a grand tourer with a hardtop coupe body.
The car is in a very well-maintained condition and you can see that the previous owner always cared for the vehicle with great passion. The fit of the body is very nice and the interior looks well maintained and has a correct patina.
