Harris heeft een rijke historie in de racerij. Dat dit bedrijf zijn vak goed verstond, wisten topcoureur Barry Sheene en z'n teambaas Kenny Roberts als geen ander.
Zij zwoeren bij de ambachtelijke topframes van Harris toen de fabrieksframes geen passende prestaties boden.
Naast succes bij de Grand Prix' was Harris ook actief in in de Super Bikes en beroemde wegraces zoals Isle of Man.
Deze Harris Magnum 5 is in 1996 origineel in Nederland geleverd. Zijn 135 pk's worden geleverd door de CBR900RR Fireblade krachtbron van Honda. Wat in het oog springt is de John Player Special-achtige kleurstelling waar Senna zijn helm voor af zou nemen. Dit gecombineerd met het opvallende Harris buizenframe, de overdaad aan carbon en de hooggeplaatste 'Ducati stijl' uitlaten. Een ware nekkendraaier, in een schitterende conditie.

Harris has a rich history in racing. Top racer Barry Sheene and his team boss Kenny Roberts knew better than anyone that this company understood its craft. They swore by the handcrafted top frames of Harris when the factory frames failed to deliver the right performance.

In addition to success in Grand Prix races, Harris was also active in Super Bikes and famous road races like the Isle of Man.

This Harris Magnum 5 was originally delivered in the Netherlands in 1996. Its 135 hp is provided by the Honda CBR900RR Fireblade engine. What stands out is the John Player Special-like livery that Senna would tip his helmet to. This, combined with the striking Harris tubular frame, the abundance of carbon, and the high-mounted 'Ducati style' exhausts, makes it a true head-turner in excellent condition.
