In de aflopen jaren hebben wij met meerdere GT3-modellen gereden op circuits zoals Zandvoort, Spa-Francorchamps en Bilster Berg. Maar ook op de openbare weg konden we ervaren hoe Porsche keer op keer een bijzonder goedrijdende 911 aflevert. Iedere uitvoering heeft zijn eigen karakter en specificaties. Deze 991.2 GT3 is een fantastische rijderstauto op de weg en zelfs op het circuit, precies zoals Porsche het bedoeld heeft.

Het optionele Clubsport pakket met extra accessoires maken deze 911 even capabel als vlijmscherp. En toch is hij zeer gebruiksvriendelijk in het dagelijks gebruik. We gaan liever met deze 991.2 GT3 Clubsport op reis dan met het RS-model. Dit is nog altijd een van de beste stuurmansauto's op de markt, die ook buiten het circuit blijft entertainen.

De atmosferische 4-liter boxermotor is een genot over het hele toerenbereik. Vooral wanneer je de motor vrij laat draaien tot 9000 tpm, zullen de geluiden en de acceleratie en gasrespons indruk blijven maken tot in de verre toekomst. Dit is een toekomste klassieker. De 500 pk en 460 Nm koppel komen op elk moment tot leven met behulp van de moeilijk te evenaren 7-traps PDK-versnellingsbak.

Het interieur is een fijne mix van moderne, comfortverhogende opties, gecombineerd met de racebeleving die het Clubsport-pakket biedt. Deze GT3 is goed uitgerust met een rolkooi, carbon kuipstoelen met lederen/alcantara bekleding en 6-punts gordels, voor zowel de bestuurder als de passagier. Geen slechte plek om urenlang te zitten tijdens een actieve roadtrip of een track day.
In de stad zal de volgende eigenaar profiteren van het liftsysteem op de vooras, een achteruitrijcamera, cruise control en een draadloze smartphone-oplader. Aan de andere kant zal de auto nog steeds een bijna Porsche GT3 Cup-ervaring bieden wanneer hij tot het uiterste wordt gedreven op het circuit. ABS, stalen remmen en de instelbare tractiecontrole-instellingen helpen elke bestuurder om de auto binnen zijn persoonlijke mogelijkheden te benutten en de lat voor zichzelf steeds hoger te leggen.

Porsche Approved service en een verlengde Porsche Approved fabrieksgarantie zijn inbegrepen. De auto wordt afgeleverd met een officiële servicebeurt van de Porsche dealer.

Porsche 991.2 GT3 Clubsport

This company-owned 911 GT3 is a fabulous driving machine on the road and even on track, just as Porsche has intended it. Over the years we've driven several 911 GT3's on tracks like Zandvoort, Spa-Francorchamps and Bilster Berg. We also experienced the differences between the regular GT3, the Clubsport like this one and the RS. The optional Clubsport package and additional features make this specific 991.2 as capable as it is razor sharp.
Still, this example is user friendly in everyday use. This is one of the best driver’s cars on the market since its launch. From our experience we'd rather take this GT3 Clubsport on a trip, than an RS-version. It has the right package to do it all. The natural aspirated 4 litre is a joy around the entire rev range. 500 hp and 460 Nm of torque will come alive any given time, with the help of the hard-to-beat 7-speed PDK gearbox.
Throttle response is insanely good for an engine this size, especially when you let the engine run freely up until the rev-limit of 9000 rpm and back again. The flat six will impress both at acceleration and deceleration. Its soundtrack is close to a Porsche Supercup experience. The way the car handles corners makes any driver wants to attack the next apex after the next. As a bonus - and this is what we think is the most impressive about modern GT3's in general - these cars seem to go forever with just regular maintenance.
The interior is a sophisticated mix of luxury and modern technologies combined with the racing pedigree of the Clubsport package. This GT3 is well-equipped with a roll cage and carbon racing seats with leather/alcantara upholstery. Red details all around the cabin make it look extra sporty. Six-point harnesses for both driver and passenger add extra safety, but the car still has the 3-point seatbelts too. Not a bad place to be seated for hours on a spirited road trip or track day.
In town the owner will benefit from the lift system on the front axle, a rear view camera, cruise control and a wireless smartphone charger. On the other hand the car will still provide a Porsche Cup experience when being pushed to the limits on track. Lap after lap drivers will improve their skills, ideal lines and braking points, because the GT3 Clubsport offers the right amount of feedback. The adjustable traction control settings will help any driver to use the car within their personal abilities.
With Porsche Approved warranties on top of the well-serviced history of this example makes it a great opportunity for every enthusiast to own one of the future GT3 classics which can be enjoyed to the fullest right now.
